The AIT is made up of a variety of professional staff from Barton County Special Services. The team is designed to assist staff with educational and behavior strategies to improve the educational setting for children with autism. Such consultative services can be provided through observations, behavior checklists, and interviews with teachers and parents, etc. A referral can be made by general education teachers, special education teachers, parents, administrators and other professional staff.
