Driver's Education

                                                

Driver Education enrollment for June 2012 will be announced in February or March. When the enrollment date has been scheduled, it will be posted here.


Driver Education offered through USD 428 is directed by Mr. David Meter. Only one session of Driver Education will be offered each year in June. The session lasts for three to four weeks and includes classroom instruction, testing, driving time and a Defensive Driving Course taught by the Kansas Highway Patrol.  All students must pass both classroom and driving requirements to receive a certificate.


Cost for Driver Education is $150.00. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunches will pay $100.00.  There will be NO free classes. Full payment must accompany the enrollment form to be enrolled.


Students must be a legal resident of the United States, and at least 14 years of age on June 1, the first day of Driver Education classes.
